I recently had to try get a 2jz ge vvti from an IS300 running which had been wired up by another auto electrician. Unfortumnately the engine did not come with the key or key amplifier. So after reflashing the immobiliser section of the ecu to suit a new key and supplying and wiring up an amplifier box the engine started.
